Mesocycle = The smaller picture
These cycles sit within the macrocycle and are usually between 4-6weeks. Each mesocycle breaks down how we are going to achieve the goals set out in the macrocycle. If the goal is build strength, you would need to apply progressive overload principles through various compound movements to illicit building strength
Microcycle = The week-to-week plan.
